Coast/Beach
We believe that the Western Algarve is one of Europe's most attractive and congenial holiday destinations. Few areas are over-developed and the coastline, with its golden beaches, is simply magical - mile after mile of it remains completely unspoilt.
Just a few miles inland you are in a time warp - the roads are greatly improved but otherwise life is much as it has been for centuries.
Nature puts on a magnificent show all year round, with unique plants and trees ensuring that the landscape remains green throughout the year. Many birds spend the winter or summer here and many others pass through on migration routes.
Activities
The Algarve is host to a whole array of leisure activities and is one of Europe's foremost golfing destinations with over thirty five courses mostly reachable within the hour from Lagos. Tennis, horse riding, jeep safaris, dolphin watching, boating and fishing make up just some of the other activities available in the area.
The Beaches
This area boasts some of the most stunning beaches in the Algarve; the Meia Praia is easily the biggest of Lagos' beaches curving around the bay all the way from the marina to the river estuary at Alvor. It is a long open beach, in stark contrast the award winning Praia Dona Ana is the most popular beach in Lagos offering numerous photo opportunities. Most beaches have their own restaurants and bars offering freshly caught fish and a variety of snacks and drinks.

A Little About Us
'Visit Lagos' owns and manages rental properties in the Western Algarve focussed around the historic town of Lagos. A small family business based in Norfolk, England, we pride ourselves on making your holiday to this area a unique and bespoke experience.
We use a local English speaking property management company based in Lagos to arrange your meet and greet, cleaning needs, keys on arrival and departure and to generally be on hand should you have any major concerns during your stay.
We do also offer long term lets in our properties especially during winter months and are more than happy to discuss terms over these.
